Opportunity for researchers in Africa to contribute to the 2020 Women and Transport Africa Conference – Call for Contributions

The 2020 Women and Transport Africa Conference is the 3rd in a series of annual conferences organized by Flone Initiative. Given the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the 2020 Conference will be a virtual conference.

The purpose of the conference is to stimulate thinking and research on transportation issues central to an inclusive public transport. The idea is to look backwards, take stock of what has been accomplished and explore methods of translating research and policy into practice. The aim of the research and practitioner sessions are to provide a platform for the wide range of critical research being done, as well as the innovative solutions being implemented in the area of gender and urban mobility across Africa.

The full Call for Contributions text is available herePDF (pdf, 126.3 kB).

N.B. Applications should be submitted directly to Flone Initiative. Please, do not submit applications to VREF.
